Nicole M. Mills, O.D.
Board Certified Optometrist
Dr. Mills received a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Northeastern StateUniversity in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in May 2004. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree, cum laude, from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in May 2007. While there, Dr. Mills was an active member in the Gold Key International Optometric Honors Society, the Memphis Southern College of Optometry Lion’s Club, the not-for-profit organization Foundation Fighting Blindness, and Beta Sigma Kappa, an International Optometric honor fraternity.
Dr. Mills completed a year long Low Vision Rehabilitation Residency in June 2008 at Southern College of Optometry to help improve the safety and independence for patients with limited vision.
In September 2008, Dr. Mills joined E. Van Johnson, M.D. and A. George Kudirka, M.D. at Tuscaloosa Ophthalmology where she is providing families with comprehensive eye examinations, complete contact lens care, and low vision rehabilitation services for the visually impaired.
