Meet Dr. Ghobrial

Dr. Madonna Ghobrial is an optometrist at Southern Eye Consultants in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, providing comprehensive eye care with a focus on ocular disease management and dry eye. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating with honors. She received her Doctor of Optometry and Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham through its OD/MBA dual-degree program, graduating with academic distinction.

Dr. Ghobrial completed clinical training and externships in a variety of settings, including the Birmingham VA Medical Center, where she cared for veterans with complex ocular and systemic conditions. She has a particular interest in ocular disease and comprehensive eye care.

Outside of optometry, she enjoys trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with her family and husband, Peter.
