Dr. Musharoff specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, diabetic eye exams, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Musharoff earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University where he served as president of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, Director of the Student Run Homeless Clinic at the New Orleans Mission, and won three awards at graduation: Two for Ophthalmology and one for service to his community. He completed his ophthalmic residency in Birmingham at the University of Alabama at Birmingham – Callahan Eye Hospital where he teaches resident cataract surgery while helping the most vulnerable of Alabama’s population in the Lions Eye Clinic.
Born in Chicago and raised in New Jersey, “Dr. Max” spent almost 20 years in New Orleans working in a variety of roles and industries. His hobbies include exploring hiking trails around Alabama, eating his was through the world, and cooking for his friends and family.
